We've got some important news/updates
with the MemberSpeed software ...

1) There's a potential security hole with
the Tell A Friend script in Article/Audio/
Product/Video plugins

By leaving it active without captcha on,
spammers can exploit it to send spam emails.

If you have MemberSpeed version 2.03
or the latest version 2.04, you are advised
to turn on Captcha to 'Yes' for the Tell a
Friend feature in the "Configuration" section
of the Article/Audio/ Product/Video plugins

Users whom have MemberSpeed version 2.02
are advised to to deactivate the Tell a
Friend feature in the "Configuration" section
of Article/Audio/Product/Video plugins

Our tech team is looking into a way to
improve this, in the meantime...

(Note: version 2.02 does not have captcha
feature so you should deactivate it instead)


2) Paypal Issue Fix - if you installed V2.04 on
or before August 29th, please click the following
link to login & download the fix for Paypal payments:

http://www.memberspeed.com/cms/index.php?PG=patch204.html

(make sure you are logged in then put that
link in your browser if you have trouble)

It fixes the issue where a user paid/upgraded
their membership using Paypal but did not
receive a confirmation email or have their
membership status updated automatically.


3) Upcoming new drip setting to be added:

A new drip setting is in the works and will be
released soon. With this new drip setting you
will be able to give access to your products
based on the month that your members joined
your site.
